The company was founded in 1992 by partners Norbert Gebhart and Ing. Maria Rysava.
In 1994, Auto Fit acquired a general agency for the import of ICI Autocolor products to the Czech Republic.
In the same year, it was the first to introduce the Aquabase waterborne system to the Czech market.
In 1999 the company moved from the lease to its own building in Brno - Slatina.
In 2000, the ICI Autocolor brand became the now famous Nexa Autocolor.
Since the existing premises are no longer suitable for the company's development, Auto Fit bought a plot of land in 2006 for the construction of a new premises on Vídeňská Street in Brno.
In 2007, the company expanded its branch in Prague Hostivař on V Chotejně Street and added new painting systems of Max Meyer and Quickline brands and Selemix industrial coating system to its product range.
In the same year, it launches the second generation of the waterborne system Nexa Autocolor Aquabase Plus on the Czech market. The system is unique in that, thanks to microgel technology, it does not need to be mixed.
In 2008, the company started construction of a new premises on Vídeňská Street in Brno.
In 2009, the building is completed and the company moves into its new headquarters with its own fully equipped training centre.
In 2010, Auto Fit introduced ISO 9001 quality management.
In 2012, Auto Fit introduced an environmental management system according to ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005.
In 2013, Nexa Autocolor became the recommended brand for the PORSCHE Czech Republic s.r.o. service network.
In 2016, Auto Fit installs and starts selling the revolutionary Daisy Wheel automatic mixing machine as the first in the Czech republic!
In 2019, Auto Fit is coming to the Czech market with another revolutionary innovation - the Moonwalk automatic mixing machine!
The year 2020 marks an important milestone for Nexa Autocolor in the Czech Republic, as it receives a recommendation for the ŠKODA AUTO Czech Republic dealer network.
At the same time, AutoFit signs an agreement with Hyundai Motor Czech s.r.o. for the supply of goods and accessories to the Hyundai dealer network in the Czech Republic and becomes the exclusive distributor of EVERCOAT products for the Czech Republic.
